Phân Tích Diễn Ngôn Phê Phán Hai Bài Phát Biểu Của John F. Kennedy - Lời Tuyên Bố Khai Mạc Trong Cuộc Tranh Luận Thứ Nhất Tranh Chức Tổng Thống Với Richard M. Nixon Và Tuyên Thệ Nhậm Chức​

This piece of work expounds an analysis on two of John F. Kennedy’s speeches, namely his opening statement in the first presidential debate with Richard M. Nixon and his inaugural address. The study is supposed to testify the relations between language and ideology and/or power. To fulfill the abovementioned purposes, an overview of discourse, critical discourse analysis, the relations among language, power, and ideology are provided. Thought there are different approaches towards critical discourse analysis, the author chose the framework suggested by Teun van Dijk with six-step procedure to analyze the chosen discourse.
