    Using Corpus-Based Activities In English Grammar Lessons: Effects On Learners Achievements And Perceptions Of Autonomy
    The use of “corpora” has long been introduced to the EFL learning context, yet it could sound strange to a majority of English learners. Even if the learners know about this concept, the use of corpora in language learning is not something popular in the EFL context, especially in Vietnam. Numerous studies in Western contexts have proved the effectiveness of the use of corpus-based activities (CBAs) in language learning, yet there is hardly any study found for the specific EFL context in Vietnam. Conducted in the form of a mixed methods design, the study investigated the actual effects that CBAs used in grammar lessons had on English-major learners regarding the two aspects namely learners’ achievements and learners’ perceptions of autonomy.
