    Improving Elf Secondary School Students’ Speaking Skill Through The Dubbing Video Technique
    This study aims to investigate the use dubbing video technique in teaching speaking skills to secondary school students. The study involved ninety 7th grade students from a secondary school in Vinh city - Nghe An province. The participants were following the usual English program for secondary school students in two different intact classes. One of the classes was randomly chosen to be the control group and other the treatment group. During the experiment, the treatment group did various speaking activities by applying dubbing video in English in a classroom. Meanwhile, the control group was taught using traditional techniques. Pre-treatment and post-treatment tests were administered to measure the learners’ speaking skills, and a questionnaire survey was conducted to find out their attitudes towards the technique. The data revealed that the use of video dubbing helps improve the learners’ speaking skills. The participating students showed positive attitudes towards this method. Additionally, the difficulties and perceptions of the teachers when applying this method were also explored. Based on the findings, some suggestions for teaching speaking skills to learners have been proposed.
