    Improving Primary School Students' Self-Confidence In Speaking English Through Storytelling
    EFL learners have been demonstrated to be frequently inactive in language classroom. In this era of globalization, it is critical to increase the confidence of passive learners so that they can participate actively in conversational classroom activities. This study was based on issues discovered during observation of the teaching and learning process. The paper aims to investigate how the use of storytelling techniques boosted students' confidence in speaking to class 4 at N English Center in academic year 2021–2022. The research methodology used in this research was Classroom Action Research Project. The participants in the study were 30 fourth-grade children. The writer used an observation checklist table, field notes, and questionnaires to collect data. Students' confidence in speaking improved as a result of applying the storytelling approach. The majority of them are engaged in speaking classroom. In conclusion, storytelling appears to be an effective method for motivating and boosting students' self-confidence. As a result, the writer recommends the teacher use storytelling techniques in teaching speaking to the students.
