It is an incontrovertible fact that the need of using English as an efficient means to be successful in such an integrated world has been increasing among the youth when they start their real careers. Although this has become a great motive that considerately enhances the situation of teaching and learning English language in Vietnam, students‟ attitudes and motivation to learn the subject are completely different from region to region, even classroom to classroom. While many Vietnamese youngsters put a lot of their time and efforts in learning English, many others appear to be too indifferent to the necessity of mastering the language. The issue might stem from various reasons but above all, it is supposed to be students‟ low motivation to learn this subject that causes the problem.
