    The Effects Of Extensive Reading On Efl Primary School Students’ English Proficiency
    This project examines the effects of a 15-week extensive reading program on EFL learners’ English proficiency. Utilizing the experimental design, the project involved 91 fourth-grade students from two intact classes at a primary school. The two classes were randomly assigned to be the experimental group, which received an extensive reading program, and the control group, which followed the usual EFL curriculum. A pre-test and a post-test were utilized to measure changes in reading proficiency and overall language competence. The results indicate significant improvement in the experimental group's reading ability and other language skills compared to the control group. These findings suggest that extensive reading is an effective strategy for enhancing English proficiency among young EFL learners, providing valuable insights for educators and curriculum developers aiming to improve language education outcomes.
