    Using Shadowing Technique To Improve Primary School Learners’ Pronunciation - A Case Study At An English Center In Vinh
    Most second language learners encounter difficulties when listening and speaking in the target language. For the primary school students at Newstar English center, the problem might be serious. Because of their poor pronunciation even with basic sounds or words, the students found it difficult to say, speak and understand studying materials in English. Then, the monotonous technique employed by the teacher in teaching English became the problem too. Actually, the students have low motivation and do not have the exercise about pronunciation. Therefore, the aim of this project was to find out the effectiveness of the shadowing technique on students’ pronunciation at the fourth-grade students of Newstar English center. This research was classified as an experimental study. The samples consist of 41 students that were divided into two classes, namely the experimental and control classes. The data were collected through questionnaire, pre-test and post-test.
