Using Voice-Acting Activities To Improve EFL Primary School Students’ Speaking Skill​

This project investigates the impact of voice-acting activities on the speaking skills of primary school students learning English as a Foreign Language (EFL). Conducted over a period of 12 weeks, the project comprised a week of pre-testing, a week of result collection, and 10 weeks of implementing the experimental activities. The project utilized experimental, quantitative, and qualitative methods, focusing on two groups: the control group (class 1G) and the experimental group (class 1C). The results indicate that voice-acting activities significantly enhanced the students' speaking skills, including vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and interaction. These activities not only made learning more engaging and enjoyable for the first graders but also provided teachers with practical teaching materials. The improvements observed in the experimental group highlight the potential of voiceacting activities to create a dynamic and effective learning environment in EFL education.
