    Using Word Family Bingo Games To Review Vocabulary - Impact On Students’ Vocabulary Learning And Engagement
    This study examines the effectiveness of Word Family Bingo games in improving students' vocabulary learning and engagement. The research involved sixty students at an English Centre in Nghe An, Vietnam. During the 6-week period, students participated in Word Family Bingo games after each lesson to review and reinforce the vocabulary they had learned. Regular assessments, surveys, and reflections were conducted to evaluate the impact of these interactive games on vocabulary acquisition and student engagement. The study used a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative and qualitative analyses. Quantitative methods included pre-test and post-test evaluations, surveys through questionnaires, and reflections, analyzed using SPSS 26.0 with techniques like Cronbach's Alpha for reliability, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), and descriptive statistics. Qualitative data from reflections were analyzed by coding and identifying themes. Results indicate that Word Family Bingo games positively impact vocabulary acquisition, promoting active participation and reinforcing word associations within thematic groupings. The findings highlight the potential of gamified learning activities to support vocabulary development and suggest implications for educational practices aimed at enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes through interactive tools.
